SOROPTIMIST International of Ukiah
Soroptimist was founded in 1921 in Oakland California by 80 women. Today the organization has grown to almost 100,000 members in 122 countries. Soroptimist International of Ukiah (SI of Ukiah) was chartered June 4, 1949. As a service club, we have a long and distinguished history in our community. Soroptimist is a diverse group of women representing a wide range of professions, small businesses, generations, backgrounds and interests... all with a common thread that connects us - the desire to improve the lives of women and girls in our community and throughout the world. Soroptimist does this by providing financial and volunteer support. - we also have a great deal of fun!
